At this time, I will not be scheduling any Live Story Times. I am, however, booking Virtual Story Times. My Virtual Story Time follows the same format as my live event, which includes a reading of my new book, followed by fun games and activities. Please see video examples below. If you are interested in booking a Virtual Story Time, please contact me.
Here's a sneak peek at my Virtual Story Time/Facebook Live event. I read my new book Little Ant & the Epic Battle.
This is one of my Virtual Story Time games — How-ie Are You Feeling? In this game, we tried to figure out why Howie was feeling sick, and then how we could make him feel better.
Here's one more Virtual Story Time game - Name That Shadow. We played this game after we read my book Little Ant & the Shadow Bully.
Welcome to my Author Visit Story Time, a fun and interactive (and imaginative!) event. My one-hour story time includes a reading of my new book Little Ant & the Epic Battle, followed by several Little Ant games to help bring the story to life. After my book reading, the children will receive a Little Ant coloring page, along with their pre-ordered, signed books (Class Visit Story Time), or parents can purchase a signed book at that time (Library Story Time). The standard fee for a one-hour story time is $200. Other packages are available. Please contact me to discuss your special story time event.
Class Visit Info:
My Class Visit Story Time is roughly an hour long, and works best for children ages 4-6. Also, the ideal group would be a maximum of 30 children. About 2 weeks before the reading, I would drop off pre-order book forms and ask to see the room. I would also ask that you hold onto whatever orders come in. About a week later, I would collect those orders. On the day of the reading, I'd come in early to set up some games. This may require the use of Fun-Tak on the wall. I would then read my new book and play a bunch of Little Ant games with the children. I would hand over the pre-ordered books to the teacher, as well as a coloring page for the class to enjoy.
Library Visit Info:
My Library Visit Story Time is similar to the above. It is roughly an hour long. On the day of the reading, I would come in early to set up some games. This may require the use of Fun-Tak on the wall. I would then read my new book and play a bunch of Little Ant games with the children. After my reading, the parents would have a chance to purchase a signed copy of any one of my Little Ant books, while the children work on their coloring pages.
* Please note—at this time, I am only hosting story times in the Northern NJ area. I am located in Nutley, NJ, so any schools or libraries in the local area would be wonderful! Please contact me to discuss your special story time.
